Airport Transfers
Bangkok is served by two airports.
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) serves all international flights and the majority of domestic flights to and from Bangkok.
Don Muang Airport (DMK) now serves domestic flights only, after being replaced by the new Suvarnabhumi Airport in 2006. Both airports are located approximately 45 minutes from the city and are primarily serviced by limousines and taxis.
The two airports are about 30 km (18 miles) apart, which is important to note when planning to connect between international or domestic flights.
Helicopter
For a fast, luxurious and comfortable arrival in true Peninsula style, guests are invited to experience helicopter airport transfers from Suvarnabhumi Airport to The Peninsula Bangkok’s private helipad. This service is operated by Advance Aviation, with new twin- engined Eurocopter EC-135 helicopters offering five VIP seats, luxury interiors and a world-class audio system. The flight takes 15 minutes and is priced at 43,750 Thai Baht from Suvarnabhumi Airport to The Peninsula Bangkok (one-way) or vice versa. This rate is subject to applicable government tax.

Limousine
Due to the city’s unpredictable traffic, the most pleasant form of transport is by hotel limousine. In addition to escaping the heat in blissful air-conditioned comfort, the hotel’s airport service manager personally escorts guests on arrival or departure.
For the convenience and comfort of its guests, The Peninsula Bangkok offers the following limousine transfer options between the hotel and Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Taxi
Located on the 2nd level of the Arrival Hall of the Suvarnabhumi Ariport, taxis from the airport are readily available, as most drivers do not speak English, it is advisable to contact the taxi hiring station to assist you with communicating with the driver.
The one-way fare from the airport to the city is approximately 500 Thai Baht and highway toll charges are additional.
Taxi Card:
The Peninsula Bangkok offers a "Taxi Card". This card provides bi-lingual address information which can be presented to taxi drivers in order to ensure guests arrive at the correct destinations. To obtain your Taxi Card, please click here.
