The Peninsula Bangkok goes “Behind the Scenes” with the latest Peninsula Academy
activity which allows guests to experience unique ways to learn the culture, lifestyle, cuisine, arts and history through individualised tours, classes and activities.
In this “Behind the Scenes” experience, guests start the day learning how to make dim sum from a team of chefs in the kitchen of Mei Jiang
, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. This is followed by a dim sum lunch, after which guests enjoy a hands-on experience working with the pastry team making chocolates or macaroons. To conclude the “Behind the Scenes” experience, participants go on an exclusive kitchen tour throughout the hotel for an overview of the intense coordination that the culinary team undertakes on a daily basis.
The programme begins at 10:00 am and lasts until 3:00 pm. The cost is THB 6,000 per person, including a dim sum lunch at Mei Jiang. One day’s advance notice is required.
